When Sammi founded Blushing Cook her core belief was that the baking and flavours of the cake were just as important as the decoration. Whilst hugely respecting the time and patience that goes into making sugar flowers having herself spent many hours carefully constructing delicate roses from sugar in the past, she felt she wanted to spend that time baking fresh and delicious cakes. After discovering edible flowers, she soon realised that there was just no need for her to spend the time making flowers when nature had already done such a beautiful job of it already.
We use fresh edible flowers wherever possible on our wedding and celebration cakes.
Edible flowers are very season dependent so we will work with you to try and design the best floral show stopper wedding cake we can. In the case that we cannot get the flowers you require, we work with florists we trust to deliver beautiful decorative flowers that we use with great care on your wedding cake.
